Mark Adams is the Conservative candidate for Egham Hythe at the 4 May local elections.
He says: "As a local resident, I know Egham Hythe is a great place to live and I want to do all I can to support our community. This is why I have previously served on the council, and why I volunteer my time to improve our Thames towpath and I coordinate Neighbourhood Watch.
"I enjoy finding solutions to local problems and working with community groups, and I can do this even more effectively as your representative at Runnymede Borough Council.
"Recently I secured the agreement of our Council to engage Network Rail to re-visit their feasibility study into level crossings and provide new costings. I hope this will be a step forward in addressing the issue of waiting times that impact our residents.
"I instigated the Runnymede Civic Awards and arranged Egham Hythe's first jumble trail. I am also active within Egham Chamber of Commerce and help to organise Magna Carta Day and the Frogs Island Fair.
"Hopefully this gives you a sense of my commitment to Egham Hythe and the confidence that I will be a hard-working and effective councillor for our community. This will be a close election but your support can make all difference. Please vote for me on 4 May to make Egham Hythe even better."
