Jaz Mavi was is a Runnymede Borough Councillor for Chertsey Riverside ward, having been elected in 2023.
She says: "My mother is a deputy headteacher and my father is a prison governor. I followed their example of public service by becoming a family solicitor specialising in family law, including helping victims of domestic violence. I am a strong advocate for our residents and the Chertsey community and my priorities are to keep our streets and green spaces safe and free of litter, taking action against fly tipping and other abuses."
