Rachel Sharp is a nurse and also the Conservative candidate for Thorpe at this year's Runnymede Borough Council elections.
Rachel has been a resident at Laleham Reach for six years and regards it as a wonderful area with a great community spirit.
She says: "Thorpe ward expanded to include Penton Park, Laleham Reach, and Northern Burway. If elected I pledge to the voice of all areas of the ward at Runnymede Borough Council. I want to be your voice, bringing all the ward’s concerns and important matters to the Local Council.
"I will vote to ensure progress of the River Thames flood alleviation scheme. I also care about the state of our roads and traffic especially around Thorpe Park, and pinch points in our ward.
"I am a part-time Emergency Department nurse at Epsom hospital, where I see people with many unmet social needs. I would like to support those affected in our area. I have always been community-minded and will give my time and energy to look after our fellow residents in all of Thorpe ward."
