Cllr Jacqui Gracey is seeking re-election in New Haw ward, which she has represented since 2019.
She lives locally with her husband Tom and young sons, and serves as Chairman of Housing at Runnymede Borough Council.
Jacqui says: "Representing New Haw is an absolute privilege. Since I was elected four years ago, I set up the borough-wide Covid response and ran a group of local volunteers supporting those most vulnerable.
"I have progressed plans for regeneration of our social housing and improved community facilities for all residents. It has been a pleasure to join our community litter picks, help with the New Haw Christmas event, and support residents in raising concerns over the impact of proposed development on the common land between New Haw Road and the canal.
"I am working with our local schools to try and address issues of dangerous parking. And I continue to support our amazing local businesses, Scouts, charities and volunteer groups across New Haw.
"As a local resident, raising my family here, I ask for your continued support this May so that I can continue this work to protect and improve New Haw."
Jacqui's three priorities if elected for a second term are: 1) Modernise social housing; 2) Upgrade local parks and skatepark; 3) Enhance the local environment.
Dr Ben Spencer MP adds: "Jacqui is an experienced and influential Councillor who campaigns for her residents and community. Consensus-building where possible, but delivering challenge where needed, she is committed to securing the best outcomes for New Haw."
