Freddie Tshiaba is resident of Weybridge Riverside ward and is standing to represent the area at Elmbridge Borough Council.
He runs his own financial services business and would, if elected, use his skills and experience to scrutinise the Council's spending and ensure better decisions and value for money for residents.
Freddie says: "A recent report commissioned by the Council found that Elmbridge could generate an additional £3m every year from its assets if it was better managed. Instead of acting on the report, the Liberal Democrats and their allies in Council chose to put up council taxes and increase their charges for parking and garden waste collections.
"It is time for new leadership at Elmbridge. Last year, many Weybridge residents supported my campaign to rebuild our hospital without further delay, to back our high street with cheaper parking. These remain my priorities. If elected I am looking forward to being a strong voice for Weybridge at the Council."
